April Already?

After a very busy MARCH madness with poetry it seems almost 24/7, it will be nice to settle into a slower? APRIL, but it's not going to happen. Here's a photo of our successful POETRY IN THE PARK 2015 held Mar 20, 2015 at Zion Park. We had 33 poets including 8 high school students with 3 teachers from Washington County School District and a wonderful teacher poet LOLA HASKINS from Florida.


Tues, April 7, 2-4 pm DIXIE POETS in the St. George Public Library. Review Poetry in the Park and Redrock Writers Seminar held last month. Critiques-bring 8-12 copies of 1-2 poems for helpful suggestions from the group. New people always welcome.


Thurs, April 16, 7-9 pm REDROCK WRITERS poetry group will meet at Markay’s home contact her for more info. <nadbmarb@gmail.com> All welcome.


Tues, April 21, 2-4 pm DIXIE POETS at the St. George Library,  critiques-bring 8-10 copies of 1-2 poems for helpful suggestions from the group. New poets welcome.

Thurs, April 23 4-6 pm (Nevada time) Reception at Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery for those poets who had poems selected by an artist as inspiration.

Fri-Sat, April 24-25, 2015 UTSPS Conference in Midway, Utah at the Homestead cost $100 for conference and meals, lodging extra. Still time to register, see http://utahpoets.com
